Speed Skating Legends attend SkateNSW Speed - 2026 Grand Prix series - Round 1

Legendary Speed Skating Coach Bill Begg, along with former World Champions Cheryl Begg and Lee Fanning (nee Hollis) attend the weekends SkateNSW Speed - 2026 Grand Prix series - Round 1, with the latter taking part in the Quad Speeding Skating event.

The event was a great success with everyone having a good time, and enjoying chatting with these Speed Skating legends, who kindly shared their knowledge and stories.

It was fortunate that the original date was rained off, with the rescheduled date aligning with Bill & Cheryl Begg being available during their whirlwind trip to Australia.

SkateNSW Speed are grateful for them to take time out of their trip and inspiring all those that attended.

The SkateNSW Speed - 2026 Grand Prix series will continue with Round 2.
