ASPA Young Professionals in Lockdown Online Event

Published Thu 16 Sep 2021

As almost half of Australia enters another week of lockdown, we appreciate the toll this is taking on the mental health of young sports professionals.

If you are under 30* and work in Australian sport - either at a state or national sport, council or otherwise - read on!

The Australian Sports Professionals Association is holding a FREE inaugural ‘Young Professionals in Lockdown’ online networking event starting on Wednesday 28th September, and running for as long as lockdowns last and we can’t congregate. After that, we’ll look to revise the format into in person catch ups, after work drinks, or something similar!

* If you are over 30, you are also welcome to join! We might end up branching out into more tailored sessions, but if you are struggling in lockdown or want some company, feel free to join and share some of your experience!

Moderated on zoom, we’ll be doing a regular ‘shop talk’, involving:

  • Meet & greets
  • Industry ideas and projects
  • Topic for the session
  • Networking

You can register your expression of interest to attend here.

While we’ve got you - a reminder that our third annual census is now open. We’d love it if you could complete it - it’ll only take a minute! You can find that here
