SkateNSW Artistic is pleased to invite all skaters from Rising Stars to Championship level, as well as all coaches, officials and volunteers, to the Skate NSW Artistic Autumn Skate Camp on the 23-24th of May 2026.
This will be a great opportunity for the NSW State team to work on their disciplines they have been selected for Nationals. And a great opportunity for all other artistic skaters to improve on their skills for future up and coming events.
The workshop will be presented by SkateNSW's own Internationally recognised World Skate Level 3 Coaches, Esther Ambrus and Gawaine Davis, ably assisted by SkateNSW Accredited Coaches and Officials:
- SkateNSW Accredited Coaches (TBC)
- SkateNSW Commissioned Officials (TBC)
Dates and Times will be as follows:
23rd May 2026 - 1:00pm - 5:00pm - Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium
24th May 2026 - 10:00am - 3:00pm - Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium
The seminar will be open to SkateNSW CAT 1, 2 or 3 members (CAT 4 members that wish to attend must upgrade to CAT 3) and aimed at Skate Stars Level 4, Rising Stars and Elementary/Championship Level skaters, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and interclub friendship.
The seminar will cover a range of skills, including:
- Off-skate session for fitness, conditioning and flexibility (TBC)
- Technical skills relevant to all skating disciplines (Freeskating, Dance, and Figures)
- Artistic Skills and Compenents
This workshop will continue the work of the NSW Talent ID program.
In addition, there will be Workshops during and/or between the sessions for Volunteers, Officials, Coaches and Skaters.
Workshop topics may include:
- Sports Integrity education and training (Sports Integirty Australia, Play By The Rules, Working With Children Check)
- Coach training
- Volunteer recruitment and training (Venue roadie, Equipment roadie, Videographer/Cutter, MC/DJ, Hospitality/Marshalling)
- Officials recruitment and training

- State Team members (ratified - without any outstanding debts due prior to the Autumn Camp)
- Skaters with a Parent/Guardian that registers and participates in Volunteer recruitment and training workshops
- Participants with Home Club from more than 250km away from PCYC Hawkesbury
- Accredited Coaches with 3 of more Skaters in attendance
- Accredited Officials (FOC)
