SkateNSW Artistic is pleased to invite all skaters from Rising Stars to Championship level, as well as all coaches, officials and volunteers, to the Skate NSW Artistic Summer Skate Camp on the 24-25th of January 2026.
The workshop will be presented by SkateNSW's own Internationally recognised World Skate Level 3 Coaches, Esther Ambrus and Gawaine Davis, ably assisted by SkateNSW Accredited Coaches and Officials, plus external Presenters (pending confirmation):
- SkateNSW Accredited Coaches (TBC)
- SkateNSW Commissioned Officials (TBC)
- External Presenters (TBC)
Dates and Times will be as follows:
24th January 2026 - 8:00-12:00pm + 5:00pm-8:00pm - Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium
25th January 2026 - 8:00-12:00pm + 5:00pm-8:00pm - Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium
The seminar will be open to SkateNSW CAT 1, 2 or 3 members (CAT 4 members that wish to attend must upgrade to CAT 3) and aimed at Skate Stars Level 4, Rising Stars and Elementary/Championship Level skaters, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and interclub friendship.
The seminar will cover a range of skills, including:
- Off-skate session for fitness, conditioning and flexibility (with a guest presenter - TBC)
- Technical skills relevant to all skating disciplines (Freeskating, Dance, and Figures)
- Artistic Skills and Choreography
- Off Skate Creative Dance Sessions with a guest presenter (TBC)
This workshop will continue the work of the NSW Talent ID program.
In addition, there will be Workshops during and/or between the sessions for Volunteers, Officials, Coaches and Skaters.
Workshop topics may include:
- Volunteer recruitment and training (Venue roadie, Equipment roadie, Videographer/Cutter, MC/DJ, Hospitality/Marshalling)
- Officials recruitment and training
- Coach training
- Sports Integrity education and training (Sports Integirty Australia, Play By The Rules, Working With Children Check)

- Accredited Officials (FOC)
